Dear Diary,
I sprained my ankel and it has been hurting for two days.
Today is Friday.
YAY.
The weekend is tommorow.
Yesterday night me AND MY MOM planned that I could do the fundraiser for school.I got sooo excited, I even made a speech.
Today I come home and my mom says no.
No you can't do the fundraiser.
Do you know how upset that made me!
Thats why right now I locked my self in my room (everyone knows there is no lock for my room) and I am talking to you.
I am really mad.
Now, I would like to change the subject, because this making me get even madder.
Last week, the whole Sunday ( the only day I had to rest because of balavihar)
We were at NAttu's house.
We went to saravanabavan for lunch.
Nattu had a hard time finding the way back home so we spent ONE HOUR in the car.
Still I couldn't stay pleasent.
I was joking in the car that Nattu flunked his test and yet Nattu didn't take it seriously but AMMA did.
So because of that she wouldn't talk to me almost the rest of the time we were there.
She said ihad to say SORRY !!!!
Whenever I said sorry amma wasn't listening.
So I had to keep saying it.
By the end of that day Nattu probably that that I was KooKoo(Mental,Paitheeyam)
That was probably the most emmbarassing MOMENT OF MY LIFE.
So you see how many problems I have!
You are so so lucky that you are a non-living computer.
I have the worst life ever.

September 17 ,2007 Monday
Dear Diary,
I am super sorry i have not written in you.
It is because I get really busy in school.
So today was okay.
Mrs.Schinkel was not here for social studies , so we
had a sub.
It was not as bad.
Today was also the first day of the annual book fair in the
school library.
I didn't buy anything.
It is going to last this whole week.'
Tommorow is back to school night.
I don't know what the comments about me are going to be to amma and appa.
Probably as usual stuff like :
Varsha is such an awsome student or I am pround to have Varsha in my class or ect.
Yesterday , Nattu came back from India to our house.
Unlike last time where he stayed at our house he is going to stay in a rental apartment that Yahoo gave him.
That is the sad thing.
After he ate lunch yesterday, we opened all the suitcases
and saw all the nice dresses and yummy snacks and sweets.
That was only half though.
THe rest was given to Kumar to carrier us.
This morning Nattu moved to his apartment.
I want to go to his house next weekend.
Maybe we will be able to borrow caramboard from Balaji Mama.
I can't wait.
Another good news is that Vansh's birthday is coming up in 3 more days.
CAn't wait.Vansh is saying that he does not want to have a party.
I don't know why!Anyway amma is calling me for dinner.

Dear Diary ,
Today was my Second day of school .
I'm Sorry I couldn't write i you for a long time.
On the day the class lists were posted I was eager to find out what teacher I had gotten for the fifth grade. I didn't want Mrs.Weber or Schinkle because they were know to be really Different teacher's.
I wanted Mrs.Freitas Again.
I was on the 3 rd step and a chill went through my spine.
I finally took a peek at the list , I had got Mrs.Weber.
I started with one tiny tear and grew to a rain shower on my face.
Amma told me not to cry because I might End up liking her a lot.
Finally the day of the first day of fifth grade came.
I was super nervous ! I stood in the P3 line.
Mrs.Weber was the 5th teacher to pick up the class.
When we went in she said we could sit anywhere we wanted to !
That was the First nice thing she did.
Then she took roll. And unlike all my teachers , she called me Varsha!
That was a huge relief. My other teachers call me Smrithi on the first day. Then without even realizing the whole day flew by.
I loved Mrs.Weber.
She was so nice.
I was looking forward to a another awesome day with Mrs.Weber.
I can't wait until the whole year is over to experience another teacher!

Yesterday was Varalakshmi Nombu and everone had come to our house..
For lunch, Bama and Uma Aunty had come.
We all did pooja.
Me and Pavani Sang songs.
Appa had come for lunch.
When everyone left it was around 1:00.
Then I took a little nap.
In half of my nap , Keerthana came.
I was playing with her for a while.
It was pretty fun.
Then they left to the Livermore Temple.
After they left Latha Aunty's Cousin came.
After they left , Appa came home from work.
I started Paata Practice.
In half of that Vandana Maami had come.
After they left we went to Vidya Aunty's House.
There we saw the VAralakshmi at their house.
It was A LOT different than ours.
So you see it was pretty busy.
Then after Dinner Vidya Aunty came here.

Dear Diary,
How are you doing?
I am just so glad you are here to listen to me.
Today woke up earlier than usual .
I woke and daddy left to office and me and Vansh
played for sometime.
After I took a long Bath.And when I came out I just tried
wearing a shirt That was small for me.
But surprisingly it fit.
I went and did Namaskaram to god after putting on a dress and to my
surprise Amma had made my favorite, Panagam for Navadiam.
I was so happy I drank Two Glasses.
Right now it is 10:57 am.
I am writing in you.
I CAN"T WAIT 'TILL SCHOOL STARTS!!!!!!
It is going to be soo fun.
I want Mrs.Freitas for a fifth grade teacher again.

Dear Diary,
Everything is going well so far.
Last night we went to the Temple and it was so crowded.
After the Aarthi, we went out to the the other gods and they were serving Prasadam.
And then we walked to the eating hall , and it was so crowded in there.
In the Hall we saw Latha Aunty (my paatu teacher) and her daughter Meera there.
They had some of their other family there to.
We all had dinner there.We were really stuffed after the dinner.
And then today morning my mom called Chaya Paati and then they were talking for a long time while I painted my nails with Clear Nail polish.
It looks really nice.
After that we cleaned the house.
After that I took a shower and Daddy came home for lunch.
Thats all so far.

Dear Diary,
How are ya doing?
I had more updates for you.
Today mom took us to the pool.We were swimming for 1 1/2 hours.
It was pretty fun.
I Tried lifting Vansh in the water.
He was not wearing a life jacket for a long time.
The house is kind of plain without Nattu here.
I miss him a lot.
I just ate Rasam Sadam and Thair Sadam.
I might write to you tommorow maybe.

Tonight My friend Brinda is going to leave t India.
So this is a pretty sad Day.
